“ - The staff, including one person whom I assume is the owner, are welcoming and helpful. - The location is perfect. It is one of those spots where you can really feel the city while enjoying your time. - With its small, cozy interior and authentic exterior, it’s a wonderful place to relax and enjoy your time unhurriedly. If I lived in Leiden, this would definitely be one of my regular spots to stop by and enjoy time. - I ordered a cup of pour-over coffee, but it was brewed using an AeroPress. When I asked why, I was told that the AeroPress was the most suitable method for the specific bean I had chosen at that time. I don’t remember the tasting notes, but I enjoyed the cup. - I really loved the cake served with the coffee. It might have been a Dutch product. It was a buttery piece of cake with lemon notes. - The photos were taken on 11 September 2025. ”

Whilst Leiden has many coffee places that claim to be this good, very few of them actually get to that 10 out of 10 point where they make it all so good, you just have to come back. It's a nice place with great bites, and their crew know exactly what they're doing when they select their beans to make sure you get the perfect bean for your type of coffee. Add this to the cosy atmosphere, on that cute spot on the corner that the sun can hit so well, and you have an awesome find for everyone that's looking for a hidden gem in the middle of the city. This place is the definition of quaint, it's beautifully decorated and with the music and ambience really creates a great vibe. The food and coffee are both really nice. Can highly recommend trying the smash burger & her delicious self-made pastries (which change every week). The owner is so friendly and always down for a chat, she only started 7 weeks ago and I really hope she is here to stay. I will definitely come back for more and encourage anyone to help this and other local businesses! ”
